Spice - Duty Cycle and Frequency to Spice Command

This is a convenience App for Spice modeling.  It was originally written to support thermal pulses so "Power" should be changed to amplitude to be more general.

Most LED people think in duty cycle and frequency but the Spice command uses PULSE(Ioff Ion Tdelay Trise Tfall Ton Tperiod Ncycles). This app calculates and displays the Spice command so you can copy-paste into your model.

Usage:

1. run this app
2. Copy the Spice directive
3. Switch to Spice and right click on the existing Pulse command
4. Ctrl-v
5. Run the Spice model.  It can get slow for long .tran settings.  Use the Thermal Step Response Visualization app to get an idea of the line-out time you need.
